Also, a lot of forums that have a "reputation meter" are help forums or support forums. It would be pretty pointless to have it on the AG forums. Except for maybe the S&S and Newbie forum? I don't think that's needed anyway.
I only support this is very strong restrictions are put in place. A few would include the limiting of the distribution of rep, only being able to distribute rep if you have been given explicit permission to through some mechanism, yeah that kind of stuff.
There probably is a better way of indicating who is respected on AG though.
How old are you Pear? Because you sound about 9. Only extremely young, shallow or insecure people word a post like that. A reputation meter wouldn't work on ArmorGames forums simply because of the diverse and independently thinking community. Not everyone is going to get along but as long as the arguments don't descend into mere personal attacks then I don't see a problem. People still don't have to agree with ya - no matter how much rep you have.
I think this might be an okay Idea but some people my give you - respect just for saying something that tops their answer to something or if they don't like you.
I don't know if we should have it or not. There are so many bad and good things about it that have been mentioned.

No it won't. The discussions provoked by this meter often makes people nag about their respect, become arrogant, or tell others to respect them in any way.
