Woke up at 1 PM, spent most of the day cleaning up, had ribs and set off a ton of fireworks. Almost destroyed our neighbors' house with a spinner, lol. Those things, especially the ones with actual static propellers on them, are really fun.

You Americans don't really know about Guy Fawkes Night/Bonfire Night. It's the commemoration of the foiling of the Gunpowder Plot, which was basically an attempt by a group of English Catholics to blow up Parliament and assassinate King James I of England.
Good excuse to set off fireworks. Lucky I'm not in Australia. Yes, some former British colonies still celebrate the day.
