I thought the movie was a lot more sad and mature compared the preceding movies. I have a feeling a lot of the storyline went over the heads of the kids who were the intended audience..

My reason for believing why they did that was because it seemed to be more for the people who grew up with the movies, i.e.: those in my age group, than for the young'uns.

I agree with pHacon the movie was definitely more for those who were kids when the first two movies came out but have now grown up and are leaving home.

I agree that it was more mature and more likely intended, humour-wise, for those of us that were still young when the first one came out.
Overall, the plot was brilliant. It was well-thought out and it was obvious the writers and storyboard designers spent a lot of time developing the characters and making them far more dynamic. It was brilliant that they took the time to add more depth and more personality to the characters we knew very well--and threw in a few surprises, but made it so everything was still in character.
I laughed, a lot, during that movie. The jokes were wonderful and carefully done. Since Tom Hanks is my favourite actor, I was certainly not going to pass up something he was involved in. I thought it was interesting and captivating the entire time.
Great Movie I went to see it several times and I wont forget the what are you doing here your a big kid face on the little ones haha I just simply said theres going to be a lot more of us big kids and adults than you can imagine
It is perhaps the best movie I have seen a long time. The plot was phenomenal, and the characters stayed true to themselves which I was very proud to see. It was a great shock to see that the main group had been so dwindled down. Especially when Woody calls a staff meeting and there's just the originals. With the loss of those background voices and characters: Specs, Weezy, Bo Peep, Etch, it really sent a message home to those of my time (20 and under) that the gang is really gone.
The story is true to Pixar quality. Never does Pixar fail to impress me with their level of story telling. Pixar is a film compnay that creates for the viewer, with the viewer in mind. They can take a decade to make any movie, and I will watch it because I know it will be of a quality rarely seen in these days. The number of references to previous Toy Story titles was again superb and something that touched my heart and showed Pixar's dedication to detail. And, let's be honest how do we get more evil and dark than a bear that likes to hug and smells of strawberries?
Overall I would recomend Toy Story 3 and any other Toy Story movie to anyone willing to watch them. The plot, acting and overall experience is something you will never forget. This movie is going on my all time favourites list. Along with the quote from Jessie: "I know Buz's Spanish mode"
I enjoyed the movie very much,it takes a much different storyline nad plot, since everyone is grown up now,and there is some good humor in it.Considering it's from 2010 now the animination is great
