Now that I think about it in Oblivion they wanked out even more with voices. Orcs and Nords sounded the same, and don't get me started on how every type of elf in that game sounded like a smug *******.
So right, there's much to improve on the voicing. But also on the creativity of the fauna, I mean sure there are creative beasts in Oblivion, but far less than in Morrowind. I don't want to fight bears, boars and lions... cave rats are ok, they're almost part of TES XD I mean now that they have the technology to do nice graphics and realistic physics, they can put more weight into gameplay and world, hopefully they will do so..
well if you think about it they said oblivion was taking a back seat to fallout, and new vegas comes out 22nd october......
any thinking what im thinking.
ps. i have said in other forums i think fallout is better then oblivion, doesnt mean i dont think its awesome, it just means i think fallout is super awesome.
Shortly after? Hardly. I think we'll have to wait some time. In the best case they release one or two information on the game, maybe some random concept art.. but I really don't expect much.
They better take their time and make it really great and epic, yes. Like I said, with Oblivion they now have quite a good base on physics and graphics, now the main part of the work should be put in the story, setting etc. Btw what do you expect the place to be next time? I'd really like it if it was in Skyrim, I like the nords. But we already had that more or less with Solstheim in the Bloodmoon expansion. Some pretend it will be on the Summerset Isle. High Rock wouldn't be so bad I think, with a lot of magic.. or Black Marsh, that would open a lot of possibilities for landscapes and settings.
My favorite idea would probably be in Summerset Isle. There were rumors in Oblivion that some of the mages there were thinking of rebellion. I guess you'd have to choose between the mages or the Empire. It'd be really nice to have more ethics in TES.
You're right, I forgot about the rebellion thing. But meh, I don't like these snobbish high elves.. they're even supposedly raising goblins! I hate goblins -.- hopefully there'll be such a cool Dark Brotherhood as in Oblivion again >
I actually miss how you could wear two types of gloves on different hands in Morrowind. It certainly made me feel in charge of how my character looked. Hope they bring that back in the next game.
And damn right about the Dark Brotherhood, I'm hoping for a more extreme way of joining them though. I mean I'm not sick in the head but it should require losing a finger or something.
Ya, getting to know the argonians real culture would be great. Or even in Khajiit land, I always wondered how many types of Khajiit-like species there were and how they looked like.

Very true. It's also more useful for a bigger variety of enchantments and stuff. And about the Dark Brotherhood, it should at least require that you are contacted after murdering more than just one person; this can happen accidentally under certain circumstances, and then suddenly Lucien appears and says you're a cold murderer, and you're like, Huh? What?
