Curly hair is awesome because you can get a Jewfro, but curly hair is also good because you get bangs and style your hair. I've had both curly hair and wavy hair, but I choose the wavy hair because I don't want to put all sorts of products in my hair.

My suggestion, keep it curly.

oh okay, but i have straight hair, if i use herbal essence totally twisted link
http://herbalessences.com/us/collections/totally_twisted/default.jsp
and i have straight hair and i use it, do i need it's conditioner too?
and because of my straight hair, will it cause any chemical problems because it's a shampoo for curly hair or will it just make my hair wavier?

i cant stand wavy hair lol its stupid. i like having my hair straight. i straighten it usually every morning. but im sure if you put a flat iron to the top you could jsut straighten that part and then the rest would be cool beans

I know this may sound weird, but I once got my hair chemically straightened because the curliness was annoying me.

Yes, it stayed straight for months, then it got wavy and eventually it was curly again.

Anyway, you'll probably find better help elsewhere online. I don't think many of us here are conscious about the texture of our hair.

Er, you're probably going to be using some sort of product and hair iron I guess.

and because of my straight hair, will it cause any chemical problems because it's a shampoo for curly hair or will it just make my hair wavier?

Eh, from what I'm told it doesn't necessarily makes your hair curly or wavy. It just enhances one's curly hair in some way.

Yes, someone is helping me out here.

OK this is going to sound weird coming from a guy but when you've had up to 5 girls live in ur house for a while you learn stuff.

What my sister/friends do it take a curling iron and slight twist the hair to the point that it doesn't curl but just kinda waves....(idk how you perfect that so dont ask....)

Aknerd's guide to getting curly hair (satisfaction guaranteed):

1) Find a nice girl with curly hair

2) Get to know her, become friends etc

3) Make sure you keep in touch as you get older

4) When you reach a responsible age, Propose to her

5) Have several children with her. Hopefully at least one will have curly hair. The rest can be sent to an orphanage or whatever.

6) Wait until the child is the age you are now.

7) Find a wizard

8) Get said wizard to do a mind swap with the curly haired kid and yourself, a la Freaky Friday.

9) Kill the wizard so he can't switch your minds back.

10) Now you have "naturally" curly hair!

Apparently, that works too. Though the effect wears off, as yes it's only a hair iron.

For anything substantial, you'll need some products.

@aknerd

Funny, but useless.

I think I can help here. I am curly headed. T_T I wish it was waves. lol.
Does your hair poof when you brush it?
If it doesn't, brush it a few times, and you have slightly curly waves. ta daaa

and i have straight hair and i use it, do i need it's conditioner too?

Most of the herbal essences work when you use both. (rip off, but it works)
and because of my straight hair, will it cause any chemical problems because it's a shampoo for curly hair or will it just make my hair wavier?

My oldest sister has straight hair, and she uses regular shampoo, but when she wants wavy-ish hair, she uses Garnier Fructis Wonder Waves. Shampoo and Conditioner. If it poofs when you brush it, get moisturizer too. It works.
Hope this helped ya.

Fact right thar.

Large mounds of curly hair like an afro just kind of make you look like an ego-maniac hungry for attention. Y'know?
