I think that this thread is kinda useless cause I don't think that anyone will replay, and do you know how little 40K is? People who really buy accounts (don't trick people) actually buy them for... Some million GPs....(That applies for good accounts).
1. RuneScape rules state that account trading (be it buying or selling) is a penal offence, and can result in bans. I wouldn't bother if I was you, just keep training.
2. Like KFK said, 40K is absolutely nothing. That would barely buy you a level 10 from a fairly stupid player. If you're wanting to buy accounts with in-game currency - despite JaGEx's rules, you're going to have to offer quite a few million gold.
both the guys are right.. most people have 3000k or more! So it's nothing and when you've got a high account, i don't think you want to sell it.. And isn't it more fun when you just start to play for your own, then you can say you really did everything!

this kid summed it up nicely. even though i havent played runescape in a while i know that most people are not even willing to give their account away unless you pay them real money.
