Unless a new one came out that I missed, I have read every single Dune book. I prefer the original series, but I like all of them. In fact I would say that the original series is my favorite series.
Oh no not a dune movie in 3d. Everything that ends up in 3d seems to be terrible. I bet it would be the sandworms that get most of the 3d action time. I think the final fight with everyone riding the sandworms and a sandstorm at their back would be epic! Also looking forward to seeing sardaukar in action hope they dont end up like stormtroopers.
Dune is awesome! Not so fond of the kid's work though, it contradicts some of Frank Herbert's original work. I only really enjoyed the originals, and near the end of those I was feeling a little meh.
