hm. interesting match up...... inspires me for a thread to make.....
travis is the better drummer for sure, but lars is talented in the fact that he writes songs and then drums them.
travis doesnt write lyrics for blink usually.
but the overall better drummer is travis cause of his overall schooling in music is greater then lars'. travis also has alot more chops then lars does.
I don't listen to blink 182 so I can't make a good decision, but in my opinion Lars Ulrich is kind of overrated. The only album were I think his drum work is excellent is ...And Justice for All.
In my one sided opinion, i go for Travis, on the base of his Remixes.
The remixes are quite inspiring for young talent who look to become drummers, and i know a lot of people in my sisters school who do the drums and look towards Travis barker as their 'source' of talent.
His remixes tho are more than just inspiring, they bring the best of both genres together, RnB & Drums/Rock, how would of thought something which looked so wrong sounded so right.
