Influence Cap raised to 200. Prides: Now cost 40 Influence, up from 35. Gladiator: Price reduced. Weapon range and damage increased slightly. Sakata Spider: Price slightly reduced. Range, speed and HP slightly increased. Meditec: Now takes slightly few seconds to deploy.
Well, my question is: What do you think where will be the forge, and where the outpost dominant then?
Forge is srsly better than outpost in tier 1, but not that good in tier 3. Now both Tier 3 units of forge became better - and this will have maybe bad results.
In CW and especially SS, both Tier 1 and Tier 3 of Forge will be better than the outpost - the atakatas and sakata spiders only cost energy, ud became unstoppable if you have 3 solar grids and tier 3 forge. Hovers and especially black queens wouldnt be that price efficient like your katas, so would be outpost also in tier 3 weaker than forge in tier 3.
glads die from hover, spider dies from queen problem solved
Not when your a good player, dude.
Atakatas cant get fucked by bqs kuz of the special armor, the sakata spiders and the glads are (i think so) more price efficient than hovs. And hey, forge can also use tier 2 (phants and atakatas are simply good units, phants only when you have at least 10 of them, kuz of splash), but outpost doesnt. So forge will be able to counter outpost better than outpost forge.
This is srsly not my opinion dude what you have written, but hey, finally im a pro! ^^ (only a average pro, but a pro :P)
So hey, what you wrote here is a bit wrong. You talked at first very generally, then more specific, that made me enjoy your text dude ^^
Now, you forgot the tier 1. Lets say it this way first:
Tier 1 is not very price efficient You pay for tier 2 to enable better, more price efficient units Now you pay for tier 3 for the same reason.
Forge produces 2/5 E, 24 per minute (outpost only 20 MP per minute; 1/3 MP), has more price efficient units in tier 1 than outpost, and has more strats to flower different combinations of the enemy outpost tier 1 (with meds you have already many not useless strats).
Now, 1 marine doesnt flower 1 scout, but one scout costs 3 + 7 = 10, that means 5 marines flower 1 scout. Now, romans cost 5 energy, and the forge produces 20% quicklier energy, they flower marines even better than marines scouts, and one tank is also uneffective against 3 or 4 not microed (spammed) romans, the first attack hits only 1 (max 2), the splash of the first attack isnt used, lets say 24 romans (100 E +20% E = 120E) are much better than 50 marines (100 MP), scouts and tanks are not that easy to compare of both units ~33% of their price is money (tank: 5$ 10M - scout: 3$ 7E), but oh well, the same is here.
Forge is dominant in tier 1, and also tier 2 and tier 3. Im too tired to calculate now, its midnight in austria, ill test a bit around tomorrow and continue this. But hey, i know there are many strats, but all units can generally encounter all units - its all about how price efficient they are.
I copied and pasted from a wrod doc cuz of the spell check, so I guess thats what happened
Dont use word! Microsoft is too unsocial. Download openOffice, u dont have to pay for it and the authors are social. Oh well, my opinion of this world: Capitalism is pure SHlT
If forge spams air, forge should win, because outpost will then have to spam marines, get eaten by phantoms, and whatever ground unit forge sends out.
Outpost will still eat forge in ground though--mass chronites will annhilate any forge unit from splash.
Unmicroed romans on no rally point don't do enough to really make it worth it for tanks to shoot them, so they can just run through the romans to the yummier targets (though some tanks will still shoot the romans).
And of course...10 or so phantoms >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>a lot of marines.
In CW and especially SS, both Tier 1 and Tier 3 of Forge will be better than the outpost - the atakatas and sakata spiders only cost energy, ud became unstoppable if you have 3 solar grids and tier 3 forge.
I'm pretty sure you need at least one armory to make 'atakatas', or something. Maybe if one dude focused on ground sakatas and used that build, and the other guy did AA, then it might work.
