Well, I assume you're talking about 'online games worth paying for'.

For the PC, a longtime favorite online game has been WarCraft 3. Definitely worth a buy if you don't have it.

Theres lots of games, that you can play online and singleplayer. Purely online - WoW. Few other - MW2, RDR. I'd pay for them.

If you like strategy type MMORTS then Tribal Wars is a long standing favorite of mine. D&D Online is pretty good as well.

I would reccomend RuneSape

1. You fail at spelling. Just had to point it out.

2. Runescape is incredibly boring!! I have tried several times to get into it, even had many of my friends give me their characters, and no matter how hard I try I can't find myself spending more than about an hour playing it before I'm bored to tears.

the term 'fail' is nice in that it can be past, present, or future tense just as it is. Also, I wasn't aiming for proper grammatical form there, I was using it as it is used in internet lingo.

you fail at correcting my grammar.

I did do quests in RS, many of them at various stages of the game. I found them either frustrating, boring, or nonsensical, but rarely if ever funny.

I think runescape is a good game, even without getting member! You have a lot to do when you want all your skills to be lvl 99 haha! but i think it's more easy when you are a member..

but i think that none of the online games is worth paying for every month.. i think it's a waste of money:P

^^^This. If you want a good variety of online games to play, go with Steam. It's great for finding new and fun games to play. And I heard they have it for Mac now if you aren't a PC lover like myself

QuakeLive

Alliance of Valiant Arms

Pretty much the only two free online FPS games worth playing. Both have pretty balanced competitive gameplay.

Well, there's Heroes in the Sky, it's a WWII flight simulator game (think aces high or whatever, but it's free). It just finished closed beta about a week or two ago, and it's a port from another region (korea probably)...

And one of my favorites--darkspace. It's a space combat game...

Reason I like those two is they...have a heavy dependence on skill. In darkspace, when you just start out, you can already easily (read: lengthy but not that hard) kill an enemy with the most powerful ship (dreadnought)...HIS is more level dependent though.

In RS pvp--you're not likely to win against a higher level player with better stats, and...
can someone point out to me the tactics or such of a fight? Seems to me like just click on a guy and pray for the god of dice...that's my opinion.
