Well this morning I drank some Up & Go (Liquid Breakfast) instead of Cereal or Toast and it got me thinking ... Is it good for you?

It has Protein , Calcium and all that stuff but is it really good for you?

Probably wouldn't be good for you if you drank it every morning instead of Cereal or Toast.

So is it good for you?

I think it is ... as long as it has the necessary nutrients that you would recieve from a normal breakfast

I suggest you the liquid breakfast AND a wholesome breakfast. I mean, milk can be considered as part of a breakfast, but we should eat the banana, too :P

Actually, no, it isn't. The human diet (or any diet for the matter) doesn't like liquid diets. You will feel like crap and have diarrhea all day.

As an occasional supplement it's okay for you. Just don't use it as a regular breakfast. Your bowels won't be happy with you.

I'm sure its fine as long as you have a healthy digestive system. I wouldn't suggest having everyday. as even the healthies system couldn't take that.

No, because the brain does not detect liquid calories. Simply, you would feel starved, and get fat.

Eh, I suppose if you for one day or on occasion, it's alright. Living on liquids isn't viable, as everyone else has said.

No , Liquid Breakfast drink , it's a thick food drink. It's got the equal to 2 Weet-Bix. (Australian Wheat Biscuits.)

Heh. It is. Everyone loves to eat Weet-Bix here. Heck, the Brits have Weetabix too. It's very similar.

Depends on how you use it, and probably also what kind it is. And you shouldn't be getting diarrhea if the food you eat for the rest of the day contains enough fibers and stuff, although that will obviously vary on how well your body takes to the liquid.

If your regular diet lacks protein, it's probably a reasonably good way of getting some extra.

Mm, grainy artificial strawberry flavour... *cough, hack* Can taste okay too, though.
