Especially after midnight, because then they will turn evil. And also don't pour water on them, because then they will multiply. Wait... what am I thinking of?
I seriously forgot what I was referencing there. I need food.
I've never understood why people even care if other people are "newbies" or not. Afterall, how do you know whether or not said "newbies" have spent any time on forums before? They could be a veteran on a similar forum, and thus well versed in internet manners and whatnot.
IE if someone like, say, Knight (just using him because he is obviously a veteran, and posted right before me as I'm writing this) were to join another a similar site, he wouldn't really be a newb, would he? He might be new to their community, but he would be able to fit in easily.
So if Knight's doppleganger on some other forum joins AG, he couldn't really be considered a newb. Morever, mannerism has nothing to do with it. Someone could easily get a few thousand posts and still be an obnoxious troll (as long as they don't get banned). But if someone has a few thousand posts, then they can't be a newb, can they?
And if this person, who has a few thousand posts on some other site, joins AG, would they still be a newb? That's like calling somone who was born in Washington but moves to Florida an immigrant. They may be new to the state, but not to the country.
Point is, there is no way of telling if someone is a newb or not. Which is way I don't care that much about it.
