who knows good music
Wagner is amazing, as is Beethoven. However Chopin would have to be my favorite classical musician/composer. His nocturnes are especially haunting.
I've never really listened to classical music, but I always thought it would be an interesting genre to explore.
As far as classical goes, I'm a big fan of the Russian school of the 20th century, particularly Rachmaninoff, Stravinsky and Prokofieff.
I watched a documentary about the roots of heavy metal a couple months ago, and it began with heavy metal's link with classical music and Richard Vagner was mentioned, so that's whats been fueling my curiosity.
