I think PS3 has some nice stuff that comes with it like the blu-ray and built in wireless, but with the newest Xbox 360 model it has everything the PS3 does (except blu-ray) with faster wireless built in, more usb for extra storage, and they've even made a new function that lets it act like a Wii using only a camera and you.
That's not including that (in my opinion) Xbox makes it easier to keep in touch with your friends and has a much larger community focus. The people at Microsoft do a lot more for the community on Xbox than Sony could ever do for PS3.
So I say Xbox is better (I sold my PS3 for it), but it's defintely personal preference
PS3 is no more different than the PS2, except just better graphics. 360 can do like xboxlive and your own avatars and all this awesome stuff. Definitely 360.
all rdy multiple threads about this but ps3 rocks it has free online gaming built in wifi (which took xbox years to put into a new xbox) able to play blueray movies upload pics from your camera download old ps1 classics and stuff
Just gotta say you can do avatars on the PS3 and its definitely way more than the ps2. the kinect for the xbox is a rip off of the playstation eye toy for the ps2 PS3 beat the xbox in the war for blu-ray/HD-DVD. the playstation store has the same content as xbox live. Sony has introduced a wii-like controller (which I don't really care for). honestly, I don't think any of you people posting all this crap about the ps3 have ever even tried it before
Xbox 360 for no other reason than Xboxlive, kinect and the amazing Xbox Controller (PS3 CONTROLLER IS THE FRIGGIN SAME DESIGN AS THE PS1 CONTROLLER WTF). And honestly, I have never seen a blu-ray dvd in my life, they didn't really catch on.
i own xbox but not playstaion and i gotta say that playstaion 3 beats xbox hands down free multi play better grapics and sony buys exclusive rights to the top games ( at the moment AC:B)
xbox better haul ass on the next console or im buying a PS4
ehh i dont like paying for online for 360, but now they are going to have some thing for ps3 where auto ypdates and stuff thats like $50 or something a year. you dont have to have it but the fact that it is their and i have forbid my self to pay monthy video game fees pisses me off.
