I think that some of the older users should remember that back in the day, upon visiting the ArmorGames main page, you would find thumbnails of random games on the website in the top left corner. Now, of course, they are there no more. Instead there are advertisements of random web games none of which are worth playing. (Notice how World of Warcraft, or Runescape is never there). I understand that it provides ArmorGames with extra money but, the random game thing used to help me find all kinds of new games that I never played before. Now some of you may check out my profile and see that I've been a member for only like a month, but actually I used to have an account on AG a few years ago but, it was deleted by AG cause I have a thing with cursing. And now I'm pissed at AG for posting Ads in every single corner of the website.
I don't see how eight to nine months ago is back in the day. Anyway, I see your reaction as a mere overreaction.
1) I think I've seen RS there at least once. As for WoW, if the creators wanted to put adverts on here, wouldn't they? AG doesn't determine the specifics of the ads put on it, that's what third party companies ddo.
2) Carlie herself said that the feature was being underused.
3) Do you need that to find new games? Here's a list of all the games on AG, in one area. Enjoy.
4) Who wouldn't opt for extra money?
5) Every single corner? Are you kidding me? Relatively, AG doesn't have bad advertising. Other sites are much more intrusive and are explicit.
6) You sure none are worth playing? How do you know that?
Personally I think Addicting Games has way more advertising. It was part of the reason I left them to come here. Most of the random games I heard weren't very good anyways. At least AG is gettin money from it now.

That's because WoW advertises extensively elsewhere and runescape sucks.

Go to the main page, click a genre at the top that you are interested in, then play some of the games!
posting Ads in every single corner of the website.
Umm.. there's the banner on the top of the page and 2 ads on the main page... yep, that's every corner. Guess what, those ads keep this site free. If you don't like it, go somewhere else, or offer to pay the maintenance for the site, and the hosting, and the bandwidth, and everything else required to operate a website. Otherwise stfu.
