I'm a very music motivated person, I can play several instruments, and my day is filled with music, from working in my bar and restaurant, having MTV in the bar, jazz in the restaurant, or from when i'm relaxing, and i have rock, heavy metal, pop, rap, hip hop, rnb, soul, instrumental tunes, hardcore, rave, and pretty much any genre there is, it is a fuel in my life. However, so many songs hold, DEEPER meanings than they portray, especially the songs which are written by the singers, and the videos which are directed by the singers.
So, although this MAY of suited the Game Section more, i felt this had a more serious side to it, where people can give honest, and serious open opinions.
How this will work:
I will start off with One song and the video.
the next few posters will give there interpretation of the song or the video or both. Then you may put lyrics, or a video of your own.
When giving your opinion on lyrics, / music video, make sure to quote, to just keep it slightly cleaner.
If your confused at all, just watch how the thread works out, and join in when you feel comfortable, there is no right or wrong, but so many songs have so many DEEPER meanings, its always nice to see others takes on everything.
Note: To make this work, you cannot LISTEN to the lyrics being sung, you read them how you would read them, whether like a poem, or a story, or just word for word. The video you need to try and concentrate on the video itself more then the lyrics, so maybe mute the sound, to get the best results out of everyone's opinions.
