What's with these shield things? I notice all newcomers are assigned one as well, as opposed to the white shield.

They will be common between the newbies , If the None AP Armatars are none they like they can go with coloured shield or default shield.

Meh , Too many people have the shield Armatars , It's like they are in like blue team , orange team , red team and Grey team.
