Longest round with friend was also 15 (maybe 16, not sure).
I have only played at my friends place and he doesn't use xbox live all that much (only for the summer months, otherwise waste of money), so he only has nacht der untoten.
Tactics: First 2-3 rounds don't unlock the gun room. Don't take the insta kills or bombs that appear. Always shoot with pistol a bunch of times before knifing (knifing gives more points than even a headshot).
When unlocking gun room, it weapon choice goes like this (from best to worst):
Ray Gun Deployable MG42 Deployable Browning Magnum Automatic Rifles (FG42, Thompson, etc.) Shotguns Sniper Rifles (preferably the semi-auto one) Self-loading rifles Bolt-action rifles
Quick explanation: Ray gun not that good until later rounds as it's uber overkill, but it will still 1hko at any level IIRC, so it's a must for if you want to go to level 20 and beyond. Deployables have a shit ton of ammo and do really good damage. MG42 fires faster which comes into play later (early on it overkills and wastes ammo though) and reloads far faster than the browninf. After that it's pretty logical. Magnum 1hko's for like the first 10 levels and fires decently fast and reloads decently. Auto rifles do decent damage and can hold off a small horde. Shotguns are powerful up till like level8 where not always a 1hko. Obviously self loaders and bolt actions suck big time.
Anyways, usually stay downstairs until at least round 8. If my friend and I already have a good weapon setup (either dual deployables or deployable+raygun) then we move upstairs. If not, we stick around till like level 12 when we go upstairs regardless of weapons. Unlock the stairs in the gun room, not the main room. Then stay in that small room and one guy slaughters all the zombies bottlenecked through the doorway while other guy covers the one window, spams nades (can buy nades cheap in the back), and reloads weapons. Later on (never gotten here myself, just watching others) it becomes just ray gun spam.
Meh, too many windows, so you have to cover many directions. If you camp in the gun room all main room zombies bottleneck to one doorway, but there's the breakable wall and two other windows in the gun room too. It just makes logical sense to go upstairs (via the gun room). As then you have almost all zombies going into one bottleneck, and a few others attacking just one window. Also, nades are accessible upstairs.
Up the stairs in the "Gun Room" also known as the "Help Room" , You go up the stairs , go to the room near the stairs , Camp in the corner and just keep blasting them. (Works Effectively with 2 or 4 players.)
The Ray Gun ,Deployable MG42 , Deployable Browning or the BAR gun works best in the corner.
I would just like to give people advice on nazi zombies please feel free to post your strats and tips to help people get to high rounds successfully
The first one just buy kar and knife zombies till round 3 then use pistol + kar then open room and get randoms ( i like to have everyone in back room and one at door then when it gets too hard retreat to the nade bit upstairs and hold out.
Second one Knife first round then pistol second and but gewher or garand then either save up till you can open all doors or open one by one and then get randoms and hold off on the balcony the gewher side.
Third one You can use pistol or buy ariska until open up and open up the door first not the stairs because the room the stairs lead to is good to hold off in and after that its pretty much every man for themselves
Der riese Knife first 2 rounds then get kar and slowly open up either side ( it really doesnt matter that much then when at box get randoms get juggernaut until happy with what guns you have then get a crawler and link teles to mainframe and upgrade or if you don't have enough money hold off on catwalk then get crawler and upgrade (after your first upgrade i recommend speed cola) then hold off in cat walk ( where the bowie knife is the metal ledge / path above and hold off there.
Tips
Double tap wastes ammo i dont recommend Juggernaut is very helpful Bettys if brought in early rounds can really help later on My fav guns are Wunderwaffle ray gun ppsh mg browning PTRS is good in early rounds Monkey bombs in der riese can really help to get to 20+ rounds

Uhh.. hmm i dont have a tactic, if running around being badda** is a tactic then thats my main one
but on Der riese, i go towards the tompson room, open the 2 doors, buy a tompson, camp in that room til like round 8-10, by the time you get overrun you open the cabinets, drop down and hit the box a few. you should end up with around 11k points.
i buy the bowie knife sometimes if we get the door open fast enough.

My Tactic (Verruckt) Try every time to spawn on the Kar98k Side and stay there until round 5.Then open the upstairs and buy Bouncing Betties and/or an MP4O. Camp until round 8-9 upstairs then open the mens restroom and Random Weapons Box Room...Hit the box 3-5 times for every player and buy Jugger-Nog. Ive gotten to round 22 With this tactic. Add me on XboX 360 if you want some serious Map-Pack action.
On the first level have one person get a flamthrower then everybody else machine guns and the wall glitch upstairs above the weapon box. On Der Reise go onto the catwalk, if you need to get a weapon and the box isnt on the catwalk have somebody keep a zombie in the window.
