MRWalker, i don't want to go too off topic, but technically it's what YOU Americans do differently. As the English language originated in England funnily enough, and the American language is an adaption to it if you like.
As the English language originated in England funnily enough,
Umm... not true. English is a germanic language with it's origins coming from northern europe, mostly in the regions of modern day Denmark and northern Germany. From there these tribes invaded Britannia and from there were the beginnings of a language called "Englisc" which has evolved since then into several Scandinavian dialects, English, German, Gaelic, and a few other northwestern European dialects.
Most of the spelling differences are based on which dialects exert the most influence on the current incarnation of the language.
Now I don't mean Wikipedia and Google and that stuff I mean stuff as in games and forums, the stuff you WANT to do.
But I love wikis of various kinds D:
I have learned too many things from the internet to list them all. However, the things I probably wouldn't have learned if it hadn't been for the internet is stuff like how to use BBcoding, how to use search engines, a ton of stuff about sex, and various game things. Java and flash games are things I've spent a lot of time on over the years, and though I'm still not good at games in general, them "skills" are definitely something I've learned online.
