hello i was thinking to buy red dead redemption but i'm not shure if its good anybody that has this game can give me positive and negative things about this game?
BUY IT. Definitely a must buy, RDR is one of the most complete and detailed open world games I've ever played.
The graphics and sound are incredible, the story makes you feel like you're playing an old western movie. Every character has their own dialect that really lets you understand what they want and where they come from more. There's so many things you can do, from random events, story-line tasks, games like poker and horseshoes, going bounty hunting, dueling people (like whip out your gun and shoot them before they get you), raiding gang hideouts, hunting, and a lot more things I'm sure I haven't found yet.
The multiplayer is even more fun, you can do almost everything you do in the single player with all of your friends in the free roam option, you can play versions of team based/every man for himself games, do co-op missions with a friend, and they even have 3 sets of DLC planned to add even more things to multiplayer (like poker in free roam, more hideouts to raid, etc.)
This game is definitely worth $60, and if you do some searching you can get it for even less online brand new.
**The one thing you have to be careful about is that the PS3 version doesn't look as great as the Xbox 360 does (because they used the Xbox as the "lead" console), so they didn't really adjust the graphics for the way the PS3 views them or something, I've read a few stories on it. This shouldn't bother you much if you've never played it on the Xbox, you won't even notice it, it still looks great, but the Xbox version looks incredible
