Ok, all computers are gonna be infected by this little bugger once in their life. It randomly installs itself into your PCs task bar. It will say your PC is under "infection". If you run the scan, it will say theres a good 5000 Trojans and viruses in your PC. This is my best guide for it. I did this with my new pc that got infected by this, yeah this is total worst-case

This only works if you have 2 computers available.

1. Go to your other PC, plug in a sundrive. the sundrive is required in getting the software installed to remove the virus.

2.download Rkill and Malwarebytes, move these programs into the sun drive.

3.plug the sun drive into your infected PC, and restart the infected PC.

4.Keep on press F8 while its rebooting, and a command pron style thing should pop up. use the arrow keys intil they highlight Safe Mode. press enter on that. Now let your PC load on into safe mode.

5.it should say safe mode on the sides. Now go to my PC and open up your sundrive. Move out malwarebytes and Rkill. now double click Rkill. it should say the process was terminated. now open up MalwareBytes, and do a FULL scan.

The scan can take a LONG time. it took a good 3 hours on my
PC.

6.After the scan restart your PC and enter the normal mode. I would run malwarebytes full scan 1 more time, as well as what ever other anti virus stuff you have, as long as its not fake. (Norton Avira, ETC)

7.The virus should be gone, as well as any other viruses. I would do 1 full scan every day for 3 days, for the virus may try to reinstall itself.

I did this on my XP, i have no idea what it will do to a Vista or Windows 7.

I hope it worked!

lol virus protection. You could just wipe your infected hardrive and reinstall your OS or you could just not be silly enough to download potential infected files.

Yeah, wiping is much more convenient.

And remember, always keep backups.

No need to reiterate what has been already said.

Also, the OP has described a good method of removing viruses. Though, for some it would be more convenient just to wipe and reinstall.

Eh, sometimes I don't think you'll be able to even access safe mode.

Wiping your hard drive does that does it not?

Why would wiping a hard drive be more convenient? A little buggy like this isn't worth bothering with the trouble. This method is a lot less hassle.

Note: B permanently removes the biggest most nastiest retail virus out there.

Uh huh.

Never once had a problem with Windows, in nearly 7 years of use, and I've used every OS short of 7. Haven't gotten to that.

Windows = win. Except Vista, Vista fails. But this is common knowledge.

Yeah, generally Windows is good. Except for Vista and Me.
