I was thinking about that kind of fun that people enjoy only because it gets your adrenaline pumping. Darn I'm on my phone so no links to definitions for adrenaline but I'm sure you will figure it out. Anyways here is where we converse about such things like, to name a few, roller coasters, sky diving, bungee jumping, and that thing where you get in a cage and there's a shark or whatever but you get the idea. You can talk about it generally, or these thing which you would like to do, or have already done.
I'd like to try skydiving, always have, though I think I'd go for static line. It seems to me to be more trust in your equipment than anything else and is perfectly safe. Think about it, these skydiving companies have to have insurance and if someone is killed skydiving their insurance goes through the roof.
Now, on the other hand, while I'd try skydiving, I would never try bungee jumping. Jumping off of a bridge or something similar with a simple cord around my leg is not something I'd consider, too many things can go wrong and with some people's math skills I'm not willing to attempt it. Interestingly enough I heard that while sky diving is just adrenaline seeking to some degree bungee jumping is a form of calulated suicide or something similar. I don't know the exact terms but maybe that's a good sign for me.
Do you mean exhilerating? Or accelerating? Either way roller coasters are fun, but a little bit to weird for me, I mean traveling at extreme speeds, in circles and slants and well you get the idea. @Kyouzou Same here I am extremely uncomfortable in high places, and then to jump from a high place, without being completely sure that you aren't going to end up as a grease spot somewhere in mid-Texas.
Rock'n' roller coaster at disney world. The only good ride they have there, and it's awesome. I've always wanted to try out skydiving. It seems really fun.
As Churchill found out, getting shot at and not dying seems to do that. So if you want regular, high strain adrenaline rushes, go work as a contractor overseas or join the military. If you don't mind some PTSD in the meantime.
Anyways, sky diving isn't something I've ever wanted to do. I've got a serious fear of heights, ever looking at heights on TV makes me dizzy, so jumping to something that could be my death isn't something I'd ever want to do. So yeah.
I'm into all of it. If it is high up, goes fast, or ties your stomach in knots I'm all for it. I've done a lot of it too, I've jumped from airplanes, bungie jumped, rock climbed, ridden roller coasters. One thing that I really want to do is to swim with sharks. I've done a lot of scuba diving and have been in the water with smaller reef sharks, but I want to free swim with great whites.
Getting shot at that sounds interesting but uh maybe a tad bit dangerous.
I really don't recommend it. I highly doubt that anyone finds it in any way enjoyable, and having to deal with what happens when someone is in the way of the bullet is probably about the worst thing you can go through, next to being the one that sent the bullet on its trajectory in the first place.
