I would travel to early Greece and speak with the early philosophers of that time such as Plato. I think it would be fascinating not only to live in that era but to speak to such brilliant minds.
That would be nothing short of amazing, however how will you understand them? Ancient Greek is a dead language, I doubt that anyone still teaches it.
Personally I would go back to the beginning of the universe, the beginning of life on earth, when the Chixculub asteroid struck the Yucatan peninsula, feudal japan, ancient rome, renaissance italy, North America before Columbus,Revolutionary war, Lewis and Clark, Civil War, WW I, WW II, etc.
I didn't think I would be able to come up with so much.
Would you have to be in the same place now as where you wanted to be when you traveled back in time? Because evan two hundered years ago, traveling any great distance was a pain in the arse.

I would have to live there long enough to learn I suppose I could take some reference works with me as well to help give me a head start. I would also love to see Rome, the Mongolian hordes, feudal Japan, renaissance painters, sculptors, inventors, and philosophers, I would love to watch Chopin, Beethoven, Mozart, and many others play their compositions. I would like to go back to colonial America and speak with our founding fathers, I could go on and on about all the thousands of specific things I would want to see in our history.
There's so many things, going to back to the moon landing, Lincoln's assassination, JFK's assassination, Watergate, MLK Jr. speech, it would be the life.
i will be like all hero, saving the lives of presidents.
You can't interfere with history in such a major way, saving Lincolns life, could've led to an entirely different set of president's as such different decisions would've been made, causing drastic chnages in the present.
I do believe you can still learn Ancient Greek, though doing so would require a lot of commitment.
Eh, if one wants to go back in time, Latin would be an immensely useful language to learn. Immensely. Though that would require you having to learn a language.
As for changing the future, I do not want to alter the events of it unless I am entirely sure of what I am doing. It is easy to prevent yourself from ever being born.

Which I'm learning, unfortunately.... It would be much easier to learn latin if you picked up a few of the basics, then learned it directly from the romans.
Well, the Romans aren't exactly the friendly to foreigners type. You'd have to do something amazing if you'd want to fit in. Though how would you be able to survive if you don't know how to communicate in Latin?
Learn Latin and Greek and you'll be fine strolling around the Roman world.
According to christian mythology she took the first bite at the behest of a talking snake, and then took it to Adam and urged him to eat it as well. This is used as the basis for the sexism that is predominate in the Judeo-Christian religions. They also state that because Eve at of the apple first and led Adam into sin that this is why pregnancy and childbirth are so painful, to punish the women for being the first sinners.
