I would also go for runescape, it's very funny, you can have a chat with a lot of people across the whole world there are a lot of things to do..

but watch out, it can be pretty addictive and also it could get boring after a while

some people also like neopets.. here you have a sort pet and you can earn money by playing games, there are avatars you can get by doing things or buying things.. it's pretty funny! but it's totally different from things like runescape or so, it's not a fight game and you can't walk either..

overall, i think that the best online game of all time is world of warcraft. other than its outragous price of 15 dollars a month. plus it takes up a lot of space on my computer.

so, my suggestion for a fun online game (that's free, too) would have to be either runscape or combat arms. They both give you the option to pay for the game to get extras, but i think they are both fine without having to pay for them.

Hmm.. Console wise, try CoD5, it's not frustrating like MW2 because you don't get killed by a killstreak every 20 seconds or so, also, it has NAZI ZOMBIES!! And great to socialize.

Team Fortress 2 is worth the 20 bucks. The online community is a lovely group of people, and they won't mind terribly if you're stuck at the bottom of the scoreboards.

What you think is good is based what game types you like, but here are some that I like:
Minions is good online FLASH game.
Outer core is text-baser browser MMOP-game, so you dont need to download it.Here is link for in:

in my opinion, World Of Warcraft. its a really fun game, tons of things to do, Like Player v Player(PvP) or Dungeons/Raids/instances(PvE) and there is many classes in it, i play a warrior, but you could choose a hunter, shaman or any other class. also many races you can choose from, like Night elf, undead, orc, human. you can get gear such as chest pieces, shoulders, bracers, rings, trinkets, helmets. the level cap is 80, but an expansion is coming out soon to where they are raising it to 85. its 15 dollars a month with the cost of up-to-date expansions. but just mow a few lawns and you wont regret it . if u wanna learn more just ask, i can give you a code to play for a free amount of time

If you want a MMO, I would hold out for Star Wars: The Old Republic, coming out next year. Google it for vids.

yeah, but talking to experienced players is more helpful, the blizzard staff doesn't really know much of what to do.. the players know more about the game than them pretty much >.>

and some free ones are like adventureQuest or something. maybe battleon, they are not great graphics but sorta addicting. i dont play anymore though.
