You guys should reall think about fixing that button, I'm thinking bold, bright colors that say "Click here for the forums!" Anyways I've just made an account and I was exploring and wanted to click everything. And I absoulutely enjoy posting in the forums. So I was excited when I found them. Who knew they would be under community.
But if we get in the newbies, the spam rate will grow...Because they don't understand that AP is not their lives, and they just want the points, so they'll make duplicate threads, spam threads. Or whatever else.
That's true, ofcourse everyone also wants to earn points, but i mostly post because it's fun to read anyone's opinions etc i think newbies would think o gosh i see a way to earn points and make topics like HI or something:P
Maybe the coders could come up with a module that doesn't let you submit a post if it's not over seven words. That would atleast cut down on the amounts of one word spam.

I think that's very hard to make, but it would sure be a good thing! I see so many posts with just 4 words or so, i really annoys me when i see it XD

I don't care at all about points. I just came to the forums, to have a nice discussion and good debate about something. Talking to friends or people on the messenger is boring. You just talk to them all day about random stuff. But when you're in the forums, it's more fun to meet new people, and have a nice debate.

I don't think so, many sites have them, so I don't think it would be that hard to take one of those modules, and adapt it to AG
Yes many sites have them. It should be very useful to use here. It gives the mods and admins a break on the spam.

That's easy to bypass. What you need is a character and word requirement. I saw a suggestion for that some time ago, and for some reason I figure it was shot down.
Yeah, about half of AG..... :3 But sometimes that's good. Or the community would be overloaded
But then when it's not so good, this place seems quiet.
