Many sites have a module that doesn't let you post if the post if less then a certain number of words. It wouldn't be too hard for the coders to find a module like that and adapt it to AG. So basically what would happen is that you would be unable to post if there were less than seven words in your post.

If all I did was that, where my response was two words, I could still technically spam. Quoting someone else (or multiple people) can easily get rid of the issue of a minimum post length. There are ways to cheat a system of a minimum post length, unless the program recognised quoted text and did not include it as part of the post count.
Still, there are many different ways to say 'I agree' or 'yes' or what have you that's repetitive and you can get the post minimum. People are creative and there is no way a minimum word count will decrease spamming in threads.
Short spam is easier to spot. Until we get a more efficient way of getting the spam deleted, it's actually easier to handle it when it's so darn short.
