The spam rate has actually dropped in the forums. My simple words: Ignore spammers. Report.
I agree with this, unless they have like 3 posts, it could be that they don't know that you have to wright 7 words or more, so you can warn them once, second time just ignore it and report it.

No don't warn them at all. They can troll you, in which will make things even worse.

What do you mean by the game commments are dead? I play and rate games everyday. It may be dead for those of you who live in the forums. Which by the way I have been finding myself sucked into more and more. But I will give CPR to the dead games until somebody pulls me off of there corpse and says look man its dead, just let it go.
Incredibly full of spam. In all actuality, spam is not that big of an issue. maybe more so in the forum games, but really, no place else in the forums are there large amounts of spamming.

Why spend time commenting and rating games? You can just hang out in the forums and have a good debate and discussion. Well of course, the non-spamming way.
Sorry. But the game comments, yes they are full of spam. But really, most people don't care. Most people don't truly want to read other people's comments, so they ignore the spam.
