I hope this is not a idea that has already been suggested.
What about, instead of the 7 words rule, the readers consider if a post is spam? For example, if a post is flagged, say, 15 times (by dffrent users), then the post is automatically deleted. Or, you can insert a special button for this. This will lessen the workload of the modarators, and let them have more time working on problems that a mashine cannot fix.
i quite like the idea. even if it takes 10 years for the spammers to go, they'll still go, and that'll be it. Sure theres a few more problems and some real saddos will take advantage of it. but overall its a good idea.
When you think about it though....lets say you make an enemy here on AG and you make a post good or bad the enemy you made could be "stupid" enough to actually mark it and make 14 other accounts and mark it, but what are the chances of that? But there are people like that out there. So I am saying yes its its a ok idea I mean there could also be another way like somehow glitch the system like click the mark button 15 times but I don't know if that would be possible. But it could give mods and admins a break.
It seems like a good idea? And it could be a good idea. But what if someone just doesnt like a comment or a user and then just flags the comment to deleat it?
