I usually only play games hmm.. around six hours without breaks. I take breaks. I also haven't been playing many games in a long time, these days I usually just browse the internet.
When I find a game I like, I can play it a little over 100 hours a week, and it's not pretty. I played around 36 hours straight with just a can of coke, a packet of crisps and a bar of chocolate, when wrath of the lich king came out. I don't really see the point of playing for longer than that lol, no it's nothing to brag about. This kinda reminds me of when I had leek spin running in the background for 4 days straight, I went to bed having left my PC on. My friends were pissed that they could hear leek spin over teamspeak for 4 days.
About 5 years ago when I got SSBM, I played it for like 8 hours straight, but that was a loooooooooooooong time ago. Last year though I played MLB 09 The Show for 7 hours.
I enjoy playing games ad sometimes a few hours can pass without me doing anything else, but I worry about people trying to break that record. It's pretty dangerous not to get any sleep and if any of you are considering doing this I recommend you have someone there to call 911 if anything should happen. Also, I get a headache and my eyes start burning after a couple hours so even if it wasn't dangerous I'd probably give up fairly quickly.
I agree, it's embarrassing that a person has nothing better to do and would endanger their health to play games for two days straight. It kind of reinforces the stereotype that us gamers have no lives.
Someone give me a 24 pack of mountain dew, a wine glass, A case of NOS and an Xbox and I can beat that record right now. Not that I would really because its a massive waste and it would take a year or 2 of my lifespan lol

I agree with you. During the 25 hours of playing games, I thought a few things that I regret doing and also not doing. I found myself as a smelly fat boy with a major addiction of laptops and thus I have change myself. I now play games around 5-6 hours and started to actually finish my homework. It was kinda a major breakthrough for me.
I don't think I play a lot of games, I'm more in the Forums, I don't play the games much, because my computer is on the small side and it hurts my I's. Lol is that a pun??
I spend more time in the AG forums...BUT when the AG forums get really really really boring. Which it has in July and August. It's been boring. I wish this year would be like last year. More interesting threads and all of the old and cool members were around.
I've been recently playing Epic War 4 and Echoes for 12 hours. Not impressing. My goal isn't to play games for 24 hours. It's not my goal. I'm not that type thank you very much.
I play games only when the forums are so slowed down, it's depressing. But that's not all too often though, but their are a lot of boring threads around here.
