Ok I have mixed feelings about this movie... first i knew M.Night Shyamalan would screw it up like everything else. but i gave it a chance...and it would have been very cool. if i had never seen the cartoon... but since i followed the cartoon it was horrible they killed it.. why would u try to cram a whole season into an hour and a half... i hope they dont try to destroy the other two seasons...
I'm pretty sure it would have been a WORSE movie if you hadn't seen the cartoon since the characters had no personality, no growth, no build. The effects for the majority of the movie were also horrible. The arctic scene at the begging of the movie was the worst thing I've ever seen in a movie. The earth bender's walls were laughable at most.
I'm not sure what your standards are in big budget films but I can't find one thing good about this movie.
Saw it a few weeks ago. Absolutely terrible. CGI was lackluster. Looked like the actors were thrown a script and told to learn the day before- no emotion was put into any delivery.
I heard M. Night is going to take a trilogy now because The Last Airbender grossed so much money. Love to see how the second one turns out.
no i agree that everything about this movie was horrible but people i know who have seen it and never saw the cartoon that thought it was good... crazy i know... just cause of the idea of bending... i said to watch the cartoon cause its 100 times better. and if you had never seen the cartoon you dont know how much your missing out on...
