Code red mountain dew tasted almost exactly the same as mountain dew, as did all other variations of the drink.

Really is there a difference, I know that Mountain dew has more of a variety but the original sort of taste the same.

Sierra Mist, Mountain Dew and 7 Up are all lemon-lime flavored carbonated drinks.

Since the first is only available in America, (PepsiCo owns the rights to 7 Up outisde the US) I drink Mountain Dew. I think it has been around 6-7 years since I've had Sierra Mist.

They all taste pretty much the same to me.

I prefer Mountain Dew since I have never had Sierra Mist. I don't drink it often though.

I like Sierra Mist as my favorite Lime Lime Soda. It's a bit better than 7-Up.

Actually, I'm torn between the two. Mountain Dew has
that can't-beat taste and fizz, while Sierra Mist is
lighter, but no less can't-beat when it comes to fizz.
I'd actually choose Sierra Mist if I really had to
pick between the two.

sierra mist is cool, but mtn dew is better because they have more than just one flavor, and even that one flavor tasted amazing.

Original Mountain Dew isn't lemon-lime, it's "citrus lemon". The main flavoring agent in it is concentrated orange juice, if I remember correctly.

I like Sierra Mist better because I have the others as much as much as Sierra Mist
