Ok heres the thing, I started playing EW4 yesterday at work around 3pm and I have already beaten everything on Epic mode EXCEPT the last level. Again when I looked up people who have beaten the game all's I saw was a bunch of beginner pussy walkthroughs...UGH, anyways you guys NEED to play the game and beat every level on HARD and on EPIC mode because the designers have added tons of different new stuff to chacters and and level change, It's like playn' a whole new game except harder for instance the last level on beginner is a yellow angel ugh, easy....the last level on hard is still an angel but harder to kill, theres more of them and there purple, and finally the last level on EPIC, i have not beaten it due to the GIANT untamed beast I guess is what it is idk but it seems impossible to kill before he squonders your base. If anyone has any suggestions let me know. Thanx! -Robert Duff

Basically what you want to do is as soon as the game starts, go assault. When your heroes spawn, use S to make them stay behind the castle. With that done, all you will have to do it pay attention the the enemy castle. As soon as the boss comes out, cast Timestop. It would probably best to have it prepared beforehand. You might be asking "Why Timestop? Isn't Shield cheaper?". Well, even though it is, you will notice that the boss will slowly inch forward after every attack. So although you will be using more mana, you will be keeping him away from your castle for as long as possible. In addition to that, because you are using melee units, they may be able to sneak by and the boss could either attack them and allow more reinforcements to arrive at the base of his feet or on occasion he will walk backwards.
Anyway, keep casting Timestop as soon as you get enough energy for it. Eventually, your troops should either kill the boss or the enemy castle and then onward to victory! Hope this helps.
The timestop spell is really overrated. If you want to beat all levels on epic quickly, use the overpowered shield spell. All you need is fully upgraded phantom ghosts, valkyries, goblins, shield spell and mana. You dont actually need any other unit.
For all levels except the last one, just amass an army and camp your base until you get 400 mana and all your troops built. Then just click assault and click shield spell. When your timer goes down to 2 seconds, cast shield again. For most levels you only need 200 mana, but go 400 to be safe.
For the last level, just assault straight away. As soon as you see the big ugly white yeti thingy, cast shield spell. This is better than timestop, because you WANT the yeti to move forward, so the troops under its legs don't get hit. Just cast shield spell when the horn blows signaling the knights are to come out, and you will kill the base eventually.
In the last few levels, certain characters were inserted so that the game CANNOT be beaten unless you pay money. Thats how they keep themselves employed.
