i've been on kong lately, chatting, playing games, etc, and after awhile it finally came to me how much the user community doesnt like AG. i know its a 'bigger' site, but why? one comment i saw for a game:
thank you for choosing kongregate as your home and not Armorgames
and this was uprated 377 times, and it had nothing to do with the game ( fantastic contraption 2 i think )!!! i just dont understand why, i dont see anyone here doing the same about kong... and that was only 1 comment i found.
You know I've been on both, and from what I've seen about Kong in my time on there is that there are far more flamers and trolls there. Many seem very closedminded and aren't really there for the games as much as they are to troll the forums and flame anyone who holds a contrary viewpoint.
With AG it seems that most are drawn here for the games and because much more of the community is younger it seems that there are far more open minded users here, people open to discussion rather than resorting to immature remarks.
Don't get me wrong, the opposites do occur on both sites, as is with anywhere, but I have seen what I have described more often than the other on both sites, which is why, although I am older than most of the community here, I prefer the forums on AG over Kong.

Yes I know you aren't being totally serious but there's absolutely no reason at all to blindly start trolling and flaming a site for a reason that even you are unaware of. For all we know, it could've started over someone saying AG has a better colorscheme or another ridiculos reason and the Kong fanboy had a fit on the forums and rallied up more fanboys to troll AG. Trolling Kong will only bring trolls here. Trolling in the first place is pointless because you don't get anything out of it except more trolls against you.

i'm pretty sure one of the kong mods(or what ever the fourm mods are called their) would of locked the fourm anyway.
I see many of Kong's users don't realize the hierarchy we have here on AG, making the assumption that these forums are populated by preteen brats. No good, no good. Blind people they are.
Here in AG, we have historically been overzealous when it comes to spam. Everyone here hates spam and there is a lot of backseat moderating. Some people lament that things are too strict here. I can say that other places are relatively lax compared to this one.
A few reasons why I believe whoever says that these forums are spamholes are talking BS. These forums aren't spamholes, the comment areas are.

Yes well apparently the onomatopoeia in Japan is slightly off kilter compared with what you will find in the english speaking nations of the world... or then again perhaps they find "BOING" to be a sound which increases the appetite and creates a demand for satiation.
