Not a point that would persuade me. There are other ways to achieve a longer life, like sports.. if I had to give up meat, it would greatly reduce my living quality = not worth it (at least in my case).
and are in better shape (lol really "shape" then most omnivores
That does not necessarily need to be entirely food related. I think vegetarians often are people who watch their body more than an omnivore would, and so they often are in better shape. But as an omnivore, if you watch yourself enough, you can easily be in a great 'shape' too also a lot of vegetarians I know are way too thin. But that is just my everyday experience.
I think the only reason to be a vegetarian that doesn't make me smirk is that conserning person just doesn't like meat.
Omnivore, even though I don't think we were really meant to eat meat because really, look at your blunt teeth compared to your ancestors' teeth thousands of years ago. We looked like friggin' apes! Maybe then we were meant to eat meat but now, maybe we should stick to the veggies. Don't be fooled by those big meat companies showing you their reseach of feeding meat to starving African children and showing their health improved. Of course their health improved, those kids were starving and had nothing else to eat! Some research shows that people who eat less meat than the average person live longer.
