If you think that's alot, you don't have quick internet, or you don't have much patience. A map on Call of Duty 4 (not that I'm a fan of it) can easily be over 50MB sometimes, usually around 30MB, and it is Act 1, I would consider the next ones to be mostly the same. Though the designers have no mentioned the same mechanics, different story.

TLR, 32MB is nothing, why you decided to complain is beyond me, especially since you haven't even been a member that long, and probably made an account for just that.

Just be patience, I have slow net (sometimes), so I read comics if loadingtime is long. And Echoes is worth of that time!

highfire i like how you jump to assumptions. It downloaded for me in 2 minutes, thats what caught my attention to its file size, but as the game getting much exposure, its a big negative due to its file size

COD is completely different, thats a client based game, this is a flash game, it's not suppose to be ridiculously huge as most players wont be able to play it at work/school etc

anyways i dont care much about your comments this was merely to the developer is he/she is paying attention

Allow me to rephrase that to point out the flaw:
"It's not supposed to be rediculously huge as most players won't be able to play it at work or school etc, even though they're not supposed to in the first place."
Sorry but that's a big flaw :P

I'm not sure what you mean by "i like how you jump to assumptions." but I think it's negative by how you followed it, but 2 minutes isn't alot of time and really don't see how a minute and a half for other games (sometimes 10 seconds at max) can be such a big deal. If it's big then it seems like they're adding more use to it - which they did:
2 Panels, 1 boss interface, 5 different weapons, multiple different units with their attacks needing to scale properly (via flat damage and multiplyers), graphics design and cutscenes. I am actually surprised other games aren't this large, but then again they don't have such an organic feel like Echoes: Operation Stranglehold because the cutscenes have them actually talking and movement.
Meanwhile if you look at Epic War 2, it's roughly 12MB (the best 12MB I've ever seen, too!), and it is fairly basic.

Epic War 2 has:
3 titans for 3 civilizations.
3 other titans that are unlocked via achievements for all of them.
3 Off-units, again unlocked by achievements that are available to all of them.
Roughly 7 unique units for each one, all with different kinds of attacks, health and graphics.
Different backrounds and castle graphics for each upgrade you do.
3 Unique boss fights, each with their own graphics, attacks and health

Now for 12MB that seems small, but considering the same interface for everything (bosses etc) and the only real thing that changed in the end was the bosses with their unique castle graphics and bosses. The graphics are also poor for Epic War 2, and I wouldn't be surprised if that's what a decent amount of it was made from. But there is a lack of units on Echoes but many different mechanics.

COD is completely different, thats a client based game, this is a flash game, it's not suppose to be ridiculously huge as most players wont be able to play it at work/school etc

I really can't answer to that yet again, that really isn't a valid reason for why people make it short - I doubt they do it so people can play it in school and work lol :P

Actually, I care. I have a very good connection at home, but I am on trip now, and only have a sim-card modem, which is very slow. Somehow, I take a crap for 15 minutes and it loads for 2%. Not that it's a problem, but I hate the author for not trying to compress the file. Many programmers do their best to compress the file but the programmer of echoes doesn't. It's really an insult to slow internet players.

:/ Make sure you flush :P
Really though, 15 minutes and 2%? World of WarCraft is faster than that even tho the downloader is terrible and the amount to download is hundreds of times higher.
Really I wouldn't consider downloading any game if it were like that, games are roughly 10mb minimal (ones I play :P ), so it would only be 6% at that, so really u would wait 31mins 20 seconds (right?) for a flash game? Wow..... O.o
