Okay i have to be quick here sorry for tthe grammar mistaes which may follow. Do you like the name that your parents gave you or do you wish that you had another name? Do you like being called by a nicname more tham your real name? Sorry i am on my cousins phonr because for some reasonn mine wont let me sign in and right now i am not at home no worries though.
I really like my name, wouldn't have it changed. It means something like full of life, lively.. The only trouble is that it's a french name, but where I live we speak german, and germanspeaking people are unable to pronounce it correctly, resulting in forms of address who are either misspelled or have the wrong gender -.-
And I don't like being called by nicknames cause they only make my name longer (I have a four letter name and nicknames only make it longer).
I shall call you Bo from now on, then. *nod*
Sean ... the version that nobody seem to know how to spell. I still love it.
I love my name mostly because it's full of spelling traps kinda like that... First name. It's a Z not an S... Middle name. PH may sound like F, but nooo. Also, it's not so-fee-a, for some reason my mom made it speshul and should be pronounced sof-ya. Last name. Just tricky Danish one... Has a hard-to-hear ne in it that people sometimes miss.
I much prefer being called by a nickname (even if the most used one is just a slightly twisted version of my middle name). I even prefer being called a nickname OF my nickname... Zoph, yay.
oh god at least we're not gnomes from DnD. those crazy things have a name from everyone. they have infinite names because dad gives them a name, mom gives them a name, grandma gives you a name, your other relatives, all your friends etc.....
This. Was once in a campaign with two gnomes... I can't remember what their players named them, but it was kinda awesome when they started presenting themselves.
Well thank you then. Actually, the shortest nickname you can give me that makes sense..is K. Only K.
Last name. Just tricky Danish one... Has a hard-to-hear ne in it that people sometimes miss.
I hate Danish last names... Why must they be so hard pronounced?
@HahiHa
Yeah, I've experienced that. I think there are only five people that pronounced my name right the first time they saw or heard it. And if they hear of my name the first time, but have never seen me, they don't know if I'm a boy or a girl.
I really like mine, it's Spencer. I have a very Celtic background, and both my middle and last names are Irish, but Spencer is apparently a French name for, uh, dispenser of goods, so... yeah. Anyway, I don't know many other Spencers, and it just sounds good with any nickname. Of which I have very many.
actually I've seen a lot of origins for it, that was the first one i remember. It could just be an English corruption of the French word. I just looked it up again, it's also got Middle English and Irish origins.
I just hate the fact that all of a sudden people are naming girls Riley. WTF? Does anyone even look up what these names mean? Btw, it means valiant in gailic. i forgot the irish reason, but my version is the irish one.
