The final fantasy series is messed up see this video,and watch the whole thing through until it gets to the final fantasy series.
Personally? Kingdom hearts. Mature enough for teens, yet the younger children can watch/play it too. The story line is amazing, and it's touching as well. It's by the same people as final fantasy by the way.
Hack, Xenosaga, final fantasy up to the X, MegamanX, Resident evil, Tales of destiny...Well, I could go on for hours...
Final fantasy, mega man, and sonic 1-4 are some of my favorites
Resident Evil and The Elder Scrolls if it counts.
