Well I have been prowling around the WEPR threads to see if anything interesting is happening and I have noticed something interesting. We all know the little ads at the top of the screen above the AG logos and so on yes? Well I noticed when going into threads such as the legalize weed thread and the isreal haters thread that the ads reflected the discussion. Examlpe in the isreal haters thread the ad said I signed a bill to stand with isreal what about you? The one with weed asked the same question as the thread should weed be legalized?
They are, and they just love spying on people. Ads reflect your browser history in most cases. Which means what if you go look at a page about, say, weed, it will find an appropriate ad to show you. It is all a part of intelligent, subjective advertisement policy.
I assume you're talking about the Google adsense ads? Adsense ads reflect the content of the page it is displayed. It may use keywords from the page to display a relevant or related advertisements. It doesn't always do this and may display game-related ads as default.
