Well for one I haven't spotted anything on this new sequel, if thats what you want to call it, to The Gun Game. Now next to Thing Thing, which is completely different brand of shooter, TGG was my favorite shooter and was a nice time waster. I still haven't fully completed it or even unlocked all weapons on the game, but was still ecstatic to see the sequel when I arrived at AG one day.

But after a nice day of playing, it's left a horrible disapointment in my mind. It feels like it's taken a step back from what the original did. At least in the original you could redo whatever you wanted once you had completed it, a feature REMOVED from this one. Sure I understand that if it was just made to where you can farm the first mission until you get level 10 and enough to buy the best guns as you go while playing, but after completing the games "jobs" and all puzzles, you are stuck doing one thing over and over, which is defense.

Now my main gripe is that once you hit wave 5(Where I got to anyways), it gets dull and boring. Sure you get a missle finally that flies around instead of directly at you, but Defense is a grind and doesn't seem fun to me in the least.

Though I'm not saying the game was horrid and shouldn't be played, for I thought it was a great game, if only it hadn't came after the original Gun Game. In that one it wasn't to do puzzle/missions to get guns, though some were able to be earned like that, but by just playing. in the sequel you have to farm defense to get anything after the campaign is over.

In my opinion, I believe the idea of addable attatchments and perks are a neat feature to include but seemed un-thought-out in the way that some canceled each other out. Sure Eagle Eye adds a Crosshair, but I get a BETTER effect from a laser sight, which is cheap and only a mission away. I believe that much work was put into the game but it was poorly executed as the game drops off and ends but leaves things for you to do, but the thing it leaves is more of a patience test rather than something to enjoy.

I'm sure some people may disagree, some strongly, but I'm just here to voice my opinion on a, in my opinion, a weaker game than what was made originally. In the end I'd have to give this game a 6/10, just for the fact that it feels less than the original and it's short life.

I agree. The grinding is painful and it in turn encourages the use of pre-hacks.

I remember the original. Wasn't that the "realistic" gun game where you throw bits of yellow chalk at indestructible boxes? And bouncing a bit of chalk off the wall into a target was exactly the same as getting an actual hit? And if you just click the mouse seven million times, you get an achievement?

The sequel isn't my favorite game either but at least the guns bear some resemblance to how actual guns work. A step back it ain't.

Like I said, su there were some imporvements, but I honestly believe the first one was better. And really, if you actually play the game, you'll get most of the acheivements by normal playing, and sure both games have things you have to farm for, but at least the first game doesn't just drop off and end. You can do whatever how many times you want, leaving more than attrition firing to play.
