Though I don't have one yet but will next month, I wanted to know a couple things. 1)when it says 120GB and 160GB, what does that actually mean? I know though both have 250 memory, so I heard it had to do something with HD? 2)Is it better to buy it next month or wait till it goes down more? I can wait, cause I spend more time outside playing sports and other stuff. I still though spend 5 hours gaming at times.
Also this thread can be used to answer others q's or help others that need help.
1: How can both have 250gb of memory while having 120gb and 160gb of memory? I think you named 3 different models.
-the 160gb ps3 seems to be one of the older ps3 models -the 120gb ps3 is a ps3 slim (a newer model) -the 250gb ps3 is a ps3 slim with a bigger hardrive
1) ps3 controller is the same kind its been since ps1. xbox came out around the time the ps2 did (i think) and basically has the same controller. (cept they moved the dpad and a stick, and they have the black/white buttons instead of 2 sets of trigger buttons.) and the wii doesnt have a controller like that. it has a controller thats like an old school nintendo controller, with a d-pad and buttons.
if you're referring to the new motion controllers, then i have no idea.
2) "did ps3 makers copy their job from XBox/Wii makers" how do you copy someones job exactly?
I think he is talking about the idea for the PS3 came from the XBox/Wii. As in they copied nearly all the functions that the XBox/Wii has. I would say no, seeing as how the PS system came first, and they probably had the idea even before the XBox came out.
get the older version at a better price i had a 40 gb and i only use like 15 gbs and thats because i downloaded alot of stuff unless you want faster video when surfing online go for newer version
