I got this idea from a little war I had with someone on a chat, and thought I would make a thread.
It's essentially creating your own computer. Really, the idea is to create the most powerful computer you can, and you can even create your own components. All the pieces can be created by you, and you can create your own company(s) to make the pieces.
Although it would be best to provide stats for homemade pieces, just for user curiosity.
I have to set a no godmodding rule. Be realistic, so as not to ruin the idea of the thread. Although realism can take a backseat for entertainment purposes, just don't have a 30 trillion uber gHz processor. That's no fun.
Also, each person can have one 'company' of sorts, unique to that person.
Now for a comp that's essentially an example.
Processor: 2 * Quantum 4986-753XE (12 cores, running 4.33gHz/core [not literally a Quantum processor]) Motherboard: Quantum N59-A Superior (15 DDR3 RAM slots, 2 processor slots, 10 PCI Express x16 slots, 5600mHz FSB, default 12 USB 3.0 slots, integrated sound) Graphics Card: 9 * Nvidia GTX 295 RAM: 15 * Corsair Dominator 4GB (60GB total DDR3) Hard Drive: 5 * 1.5 TB SATA 6.0 Optical Drive: 2 * 16xBR RW (and all the way down)
Quantum being pretty much my little bit, yeah. Anyways, if you don't get it, just ask.
My computer is a touch screen, though it's screen opens up from a dice, it has the fastest connection speed even though it uses just as much as a normal computer would. It's portable because of the dice, and it holds up to 10tera byte ) alot.
