What about special badges for winning (any place) in a contest. It would show how much the user is good and original. Also badges for judjes and taking part in a contest would be good.

neh, may or might not happen, but i think it would be nice to have little 'achievement ' stickers next to the name or in that box. would make 'better' users look more established ^_^

Its a ok idea but then what is the point of merits wouldnt it just make them obsolete?
