I want to make games for this site. However, I don't have a good game making system. I have Game Maker. I don't really like it because your options are limited. I don't care if it costs money or not. I'd prefer that you would suggest easier to use game making software though.
Have you tried Flash? All the games here are flash games, which are made in adobe flash (expensive as kitten laughter), though rumours says that java games will be supported in the glorious and awesome and soon to be here in the next... couple of years: AG 3.0. Try looking in the programming section, there are threads and users capable of helping you.
