Day 2(it's past midnight now)
Transmission: "Thirsty and hungry, I resolved to find food before dawn. I was uncertain if I would be able to get more food soon, so I had to take this opportunity to start getting myself settled. Once I was out of any immediate danger, I could start looking into getting the hell away from here and back home. I took a sip of water from my canteen. Even just a small amount felt like a waterfall, and I was refreshed. Now I was grateful for the blanket of snow, being that I could use it to track. After about an hour of walking around to no avail, I finally found some moss or lichen or something on a rock. I wasn't sure if it was edible. I had heard stories told of people boiling lichens and eating them, but I had no means to make a fire unless I wanted to set the structure for my igloo on fire. And if there was no fire, there could be no boiling water. But there was always the possibility to eat it straight. The mere thought sickened me, but this was survival..."[transmission is cut off].

You find no animals or berries and nearly nothing until you find some wild lichen on a rock. It might be poisonous, though, and since you have no way to boil it it can make you sick even if it's not poison. What will you do?

A) Eat it
B) Take it back to camp.
C) Leave it and keep looking
D) Make your own option

Phone Call
Operator: "911, what is your emergency?"
You: "You have to help us! The bank's being robbed!"
Operator: "Calm down. Where are you? What's happening?"
You: "There were these men in black ski masks with guns, they came in the bank and pointed a gun at the teller. 'Don't move,' one of them said, 'everyone against the wall, now!'. So we all lined up against the wall, but I was in the back where the safety deposit boxes were. I don't think they know I'm here yet. I could see everything, and I called 911."
Operator: "Sir, I need you to listen to me. Do NOT reveal yourself to the criminals. Just stay on the phone with me. The more information we have, the better. Patrol cars are en route and they should arrive soon. Just hang on."
You: "Oh god, I think they're coming over here!" *hang up*

It started like a normal day. You went to the bank to make a deposit, but after a lot of confusion you were told to go to the back, and put it in one of the safety deposit boxes. You did so, but as you were fiddling with the box(how do you open these things, they're so confusing, you think), several men with rifles/pistols and wearing black ski masks enter the bank.
"This is a hold-up!" one of them shouts. "You," he says, pointing his gun at the teller. "I want you to get all the money in the bank. In cash. Yesterday." The teller nods, and starts rapidly typing on her computer.
"Everyone else," he continues, "line up against the wall. Take off your shoes and slide them to me. Do the same with your cell phones. Do it NOW, or I shoot you. And if anyone so much as thinks about alerting the police, I'll pepper you with so many bullet holes not even your own parents are gonna recognize you in the casket."
You gulp, but it's too late. You had already called 911. As if on some kind of cue, the guy who's been yelling instructions(who you assume is the leader) yells at one of his goons to check out the safety deposit boxes. You gulp. The guy is coming over, armed with a pistol. None of the safety deposit boxes are big enough to hide in, and besides them, the room's barren. You could hide in one of the gaps between boxes, but that would be very uncomfortable, and he might spot you. You could also give yourself up and deny calling the cops, but that would only save you for the time being, and instead of having one bad guy watching you, you'd have about half a dozen or more. You could fight him too, but that's very dangerous and would get you spotted. You'd have a gun, but it probably wouldn't be worth it. What would end up happening is you holding the bad guy as a hostage while the other bad guys hold the other hostages. A very risky move. Finally, you could climb through the ventilation duct. You know it leads to the law firm upstairs. That's a fairly safe option but it will take some time.
What will you do?

A) Take the ventilation duct upstairs.
B) Attack the guy.
C) Surrender yourself.
D) Try to hide.
E) Make your own option

Transmission: "I tried and tried, but I simply could not gather any water with what I had. No matter how much I screamed at it, my knife would not soak up a single drop of water. All I succeeded in doing was getting it all muddy. I didn't run the risk of trying my grenade, as that probably would've made it malfunction later(a very, very bad thing). I also didn't put my first aid kit in the mud. It probably would've soaked something up, but it would've ruined most of the stuff inside, like the adhesive bandages and the splint(plus would've raised chances of infection when I actually tried to use it). I wanted to scream in frustration. I was actually standing, right there in water but I couldn't get it! It was like being Tantalus; standing in a pool of water but unable to take a drink. I had to figure out some way to collect water, and I needed water soon. I wracked my brains..." [transmission is cut off].
You try to collect water, but the fact of the matter is that you just have nothing to collect it with! Your grenade? Definitely not. Your knife? It's no sponge. Your first aid kit? Not going to help. You want to yell in frustration. Here you are, actually standing in water, and you have nothing to collect it with. What will you do?

Hour 1
You decide to try and hide in the ventilation duct and try to gather more information for the cops. You hear the wailing of sirens outside, and that means the po-po have arrived. You breathe a sigh of relief, believing in a blissful second that you will be fine, that the cops will rescue you all. But the shouting just outside the safety deposit box room snaps you back to reality. You reach up and yank the steel grating down from the duct. Luckily, you are strong, plus the fact that the grate was rusted and weakened from all the years of service. With a little elbow grease, it comes away in your hands. You hear fists pounding on the heavy door outside. The lock is unpickable and they're having difficulty getting in, but now the criminals heard the grate being pulled down and now they know you're here! Apparently though, Lady Luck has taken a shine to you, and the goon outside stops banging on the door when the bossy criminal yells at him. Something about "Get the hell over here Joe, we've got a big problem!". You smile, knowing that they're off your back for now even though they know you're here(compliments of the blue and red lights flashing outside). You grab the grate so it's not obvious where you're at, and easily do a pullup into the ventilation duct. It's a bit small for you, but you fit in well enough. You slide the grate back into place precariously, and place another phone call to the police, telling them about Joe and the other hostages, and the hostage-takers. So far, you've been successful at survival. What will you do now?

A) Head upstairs to the law firm. There might be something I can use up there.
B) Ask the police what you can do to help.
C) Explore the ventilation ducts and see if you can find a spot where you can see your would-be captors.
D) Make your own option.

You: Okay, so I was told to call you guys. I want to help you in any way I can.
Police Officer: You've already told us the situation.
You: Yeah.
Police Officer: There's not really much you can do, except stay out of our way. We're currently negotiating with the leader, for the release of a few hostages. We're going to trade him a car for a few of your peers.
You: So, really, how can I help?
Police Officer: Look, really, I appreciate the thought but the fact of the matter is that getting civilians trying to do our job is a bad, bad idea.
You: What? But-
Police Officer: So just stay out of the way, and you'll be fine. We've got this one.
You will need to do something else.

A) Just stay out of the way.
B) Head upstairs to the law firm.
C) Explore the ventilation ducts and see if you can find a spot where you can see your would-be captors.

You decide to head upstairs to the law firm by way of the ventilation ducts. When you crawl through to the second floor, a young man yelps and drops the stack of papers he's carrying.
"I-I don't have any money!" he exclaims, raising his hands. You laugh.
"Don't worry man, it's just me," you say, "I'm not a criminal, and I'm not a bad guy. I just escaped. They don't really know about me."
"Oh," he sighs with relief. "So, what's it like down there?"
"I wouldn't really know," you admit. "I was in the back when those psychotic psychos with guns busted in. If I hadn't been, then I would be stuck with everyone else."
"Alright," the young laywer says. "I'm not sure if I'll be much good, but I will help in any way that I can."
