Black Hawk Down is perhaps the best overall.

Bridge on the River Kwai. It's not a war movie like Saving Private Ryan, but it was epic and I should definitely count.

Black Hawk Down...hmm...I can't think of others that I've seen, but I pretty much want to watch them all.

Do you guys know of any movies that feature the battle of Stalingrad, or at least something like that?

I would say 300... but... no, they ruined it. Too little historical reference and singled on only the 300 (out of 7,800 warriors) spartans in battle.

I think war movies are awesome for the most part. Besides they are nearly all anti war.

Black Hawk Down. Funfact, but this was Saddam Hussein's favorite movie, he would watch it while he executed people. o.O
