Yes, this was removed when the online list was removed. Both features created too much site lag, so they were taken off. Taking off the red dot would probably take a lot of coding, so they just left that there to be red forever.

It might come back in AG 3.0. Who knows...

Go to any profile, and look between the username and the armatar. That's the red dot being discussed here. Used to turn green when the user was online. Now it's just a useless profile decoration.

I think it should come on. I mean AG goes through parts of the day where nothing is happening in the forums because the same posts have been there for a hour. At least at that time it would be nice to know if people are on.

HAve you been living under a rock? haha. this has been gone since...any idea on a date Ernie?

anyways, the reason it was tken of, was beacuse people complained to much about lag, so it went. the reason it caused lag, was that it was pulling constant information (every 5 minutes0 So it slowed it down a good bit. Or so thats how it was explained to me. Which makes sense when you think about it. I'm not sure if any one in here other then ernie remembers the recently active users list. It was at the very botto mof the forum page, and had a list of all the users that where active in the last five mintues. It wsa beautifull. Loved it, and now its gone.
