lately when im playing mw2 my ps3 starts freezing after i start the game it gets to the point to before i start a online match my ps3 totally freezes i push the power button and it makes the power off sound but the lights are still on and the little green dot above the power button (red when system is turned off) starts blinking and i have to keep holding in the power button for like 10 seconds to turn it off it can be over heating cause i didnt have it on that long maybe a couple mins 15 the most a day before it starts doing it this is the 2nd or 3 day in a row it stops after 2 times it goes back to normal but like wtf?
I think your PS3 just realized how MW2 sucks so hard. But seriously now, my PS3 used to do that a lot with Assassin's Creed, maybe the disc is damaged or something.

yes, and the chances of that happening are so amazingly low that you could play for over 100 years and be fine. and its a harddrive failure, and it just pops up like the rrod. it works perfectly than BAM *plays tapps*
okay its definatley not overheating the ps3 was made so it dsnt over heat um the reason why it takes ten seconds to shut off is cuz the dnt want someone to brush agaisnt it and instantle shut it off whilst ur playing ur game the best advuce take it to a shop
