Well, i miss the old LP. But I guess that they're just trying to fit in because less people are listening to rock and are moving on to rap (LP does have rapping though), hip-hop, and pop. But they are forgetting that they have hardcore fans who still listen to rock.
No one cares about fans. its all about the money. Though hybrid theory might be one of the most lsitened to cds in my collection....well of somewhat recent music. the classics can't be passed up.
well with linkin park, the apple has never fallen far from the tree, know what i mean?
and there new song doesnt sound like a typical linking park song which is somewhat of a relief, i do like it.
changed they genre through the last 2 albums
what? lol meteora and minutes to midnight arent much different lol.
unless you mean the album that hasnt come out yet and minutes to midnight have changed genre for them, in which case it wouldnt make sence because there new album HASNT COME OUT YET.
what ive done was about the only political thing on minutes to midnight and any other album. i mean come on. meteora was hella tight and we all know that bleed it out was THE GREATEST song linkin park EVER closed with in concert during the 08 project revolution. they are still bad asses and they dont want to end up like other bands who have THE SAME sound on every album. its not how you become succesfull or stay succesfull
Poor Linkin Park. I miss Hybrid Theory and Meteora. This new stuff just doesn't cut it. They were a fanatastic band with originality and flair. Now they're so far up the mainstream I can't be bothered with them.
Meteora was a great album. I guess I still have it here, lost in my messy room. But now, with these new albums, LP isn't the same, as some users here said. Unfortunately.
