I find the television show Whale Wars highly amusing. That's sort of about whales. There's just something about people who do horribly stupid things while believing they're actually helping when they really aren't that just strikes me as hilarious. I might be a bad person...

But whales are pretty awesome. I love belugas. Though they might be related to dolphins, I forget.

A man who cuts the blubber off of a whale's carcass is called a flenser and the instrument he uses to remove the blubber is called a flensing stick. Just a fact to expand your vocabulary! ;D

Is the actual act referred to as flensing? Because I'm sure you could confuse a lot of people into thinking you're a professional fencer when in fact you are a much less glorified professional flenser.

You know what funnier? When people do positive thing to help thing they love are mocked. It might not be the best thing to do but it is the only thing to do when government is not intrested in &quoterseving our green and pure planet". Don't judge what you don't understand. /rant

Don't trash Deadliest Catch, man, I've grown attached to that one. But yeah, Whale Wars is fairly unimpressive. I mean, I get what they're trying to do, but putting what seems like a fresh out of college kid in charge? How about someone with real experience with protest and disruption tactics?

South Park did do a parody indeed. And it was pretty amazing how close to the actual show it was. Seriously, if you've seen the South Park episode, I highly recommend watching an episode of the actual show, it'll be even funnier.

Well as for me, I'm very anti-whale. Just like the website antiwhale.com. Though you don't have to be against whales to join, it is a very good website concerning whales.
