Stick with Halo 3. You're going to get bored of MW2 too quickly for it to be worth your money. I have both and Halo is the only one that gets played at this point.
MW2 is competitive, but Halo is just plain fun. i never play MW2 more than a hour because i rage quit, but i still enjoy it. Pick your style: Competitive or just for fun.
